Giganotosaurus is the largest land predator in history. It lived alongside Argentinosaurus which is the largest sauropod.

Similar to most theropods Giganotosaurs had large maws capable of tearing meat off most dinosaurs. However unlike most larger theropods it was used for tearing not breaking. Allowing it's targets to bleed out. Unique to the Gianotosaurus is the fact it hunted in packs like raptors. Due to the larger prey it had to take down.

Giganotosaurus was the primary antagonist in Land of the Giants. Where it trapped and killed an Iguanodont. Then returns to help the others kill a young Argentinosaurus. It also appears in Dangerous Seas chasing Nigel.
